Notice: Using Cafeteria Points

Dear All,

GE Health Insurance Association (GE HIA) provides a Cafeteria Plan which services lets insured person and their dependents can choose the services you need from a varied menu of products, services offered by the GE HIA from a menu of health activities.You can choose from large range of services and products.

For instance, the amounts beyond the maximum payment assistance amount (your copayment) which you and your dependents can pay to take the medical check-up and optional medical exams, purchasing home medical supplies or supplements, corporate membership tickets for recreation facilities and purchasing of leisure tickets.

Points awarded during fiscal 2014 will expire at the end of March 2016. If you have points remaining from fiscal 2014, please use them by the final deadline. (Points awarded during fiscal 2015 can be used through the end of March 2017.)


Overview of the Cafeteria Point system (numbers of points awarded are for this fiscal year)

・10,000 points awarded to each insured person on April 1 of each year (For those joining the company in the middle of the fiscal year, the number of points awarded will be prorated on a monthly basis.) Each point is worth one yen.

・Points remain valid for two fiscal years (through March 31, the end of the fiscal year, following the year in which they were awarded).

Please go to GE HIA website to check point balances and records of points used.
How to check remaining points:

1. Go to GE HIA website and click “カフェテリアプラン” in the middle of the top page.
2. The number of points shown under “あなたの保有ポイント” in the upper left of the page is your current point balances.
3. The “ポイント利用状況” banner on the left shows the points awarded to you by fiscal year and their usage.
